DJG Kaladin ~ Pedigree
Pictured here at just 2.5 years old, DJG Kaladin has already proven to be a herd sire born to improve our herd!  His kids are thick and hearty, with some of our best weaning weights here at Slavens Family Farm.  Kaladin finished the West Virginia 2021 test in 3rd place for Average Daily Gain (ADG).  He also finished the test with a Fecal Egg Count (FEC) of only 100 Eggs Per Gram (EPG).  The barber pole worm larva was injected into the bucks for this test, and Kaladin’s FEC went up to 550 EPG.  Dropping back down to only 100 EPG by the end of the test indicates strong barber pole worm resistance.  Kaladin’s herd sire also finished the West Virginia test in 1st place for ADG, obviously passing this on to Kaladin.  We are now seeing Kaladin also pass these amazing genetics on to his kids.  Very exciting!

EAV MOTO MOTO #1 OK22 ~ Pedgree
Pictured here at just 1.5 years old, EAV Moto Moto is not only adding color and beauty to our herd – he also tied for 1st place for highest Average Daily Gain (ADG) in the 2022 Eastern Oklahoma Pasture-Based Meat Goat Test.  He is also very strong in the parasite resistance area finishing the test with an average fecal egg count of only 129 eggs per gram!  After having him breed a limited number of our does for the 2023 kid crop and seeing the results, we plan to put him on many more does in the future.  His kids have outstanding wean weights, and we are excited to watch Moto Moto pass down his parasite resistance.  And what a bonus with all of that gorgeous color!

SLS Top Gun ~ Pedigree
We are privileged to add SLS Top Gun to our outstanding lineup of herd sires here at Slavens Family Farm.  Top Gun is the winner of highest Average Daily Gain (ADG) in the 2016 Eastern Oklahoma Pasture-Based Meat Goat Test.  And that's not all!  He also finished the test with an average Fecal Egg Count (FEC) of only 145 eggs per gram (EPG), and a perfect FAMACHA score of 1.  He is the whole package!  Amazing in both weight gains and parasite resistance. 

DDH Cruze N Second ~ Pedigree

Son of the great BWP TNT Cruze, Cruze N Second shined bright in the 2016 Eastern Oklahoma Pasture-Based Meat Goat Test as the Reserve Grand Champion; finishing with a FAMACHA score of 1 and placing second for ADG. He  did not stop there!  He ended the test as the only buck to exceed 100 pounds weighing in at a whopping 105.5 pounds! To top it all off, he also had the largest scrotal circumference of 29cm. Yes he is covering LOTS of does for us and doing an amazing job!

PBG No White ~ Pedigree
Also known as “Whitey” here at Slavens Family Farm (no we did not name him and yes he is a white buck), he is another amazing buck adding outstanding genetics to our herd.  His balance is what first caught our attention having placed third for ADG in the 2019 Eastern Oklahoma College Buck Forage Test – and with a finishing fecal egg count of only 147 (a much lower FEC than the first and second place ADG winners).  Coming from the well-known and renowned LRF PANGO line, Whitey is definitely passing along this great balance to his kids. We are exceedingly pleased with his performance!

LFK Outlaw’s Legacy ~ Pedigree

We are proud to have LFK Outlaw’s Legacy as one of our main herd sires.  Legacy is the winner of highest Average Daily Gain (ADG) in the 2015 Eastern Oklahoma Pasture-Based Meat Goat Test with his impressive average gain of .43 pounds per day!  His performance also set an all-time record for ADG in the Oklahoma test.  Legacy’s kids have lots of color and are some seriously great weight gainers.  **Legacy sired a buck that finished #8 for average daily gain (ADG) in the 2016 Western Maryland Pasture-Based Meat Goat Performance Test, without being dewormed!  Click on “Performance Testing” for more details.

 

SLA Nitro's  Max~ Pedigree

In 2014 Max earned the prestigious award of American Kiko Goat Association’s Performance Test Program High Point Buck.  He had the impressive scores of 8,9 in the Eastern Oklahoma Pasture-Based Meat Goat Buck Test.  The high scores were for parasite resistance and loin depth respectively.  The award of High Point Buck is calculated taking into consideration both the Eastern Oklahoma and Western Maryland tests.  He has consistently performed well, siring kids with hearty health and outstanding weights.

CGI Quantum Singularity ~ Pedigree

Quantum Singularity has been performance tested with great success.  Even more impressive is that he has also sired bucks that have had outstanding performances.

Quantum placed second for Average Daily Gain (ADG) with a ratio of 161% at the 2012 Western Maryland Pasture-Based Meat Goat Test.  In 2014 he sired the FIRST PLACE buck for ADG in Maryland with an amazing ratio of 388%.

In 2012 Quantum finished the Maryland test with the lowest average FAMACHA score of all bucks at 1.3 and was named the most parasite resilient buck.  In 2014 the buck he sired finished the Maryland test with a FAMACHA score of 1.

Quantum placed third for Rib Eye Area (REA) size in the 2012 Maryland test with a 131% ratio.  In 2014 he sired the buck that tied for FIRST PLACE for REA size.

In 2012 Quantum finished the Maryland test as a Top Ten Buck overall.  In 2014 he sired the Top Performing Buck overall in Maryland.

We are excited to have him as a part of our breeding program!

LFK Rockin’ Blue ~ Pedigree
With an adjusted wean weight of 80 pounds, Rockin’ Blue has added both fast weight gains and unique color to our herd.  He sires some of the most interesting and beautifully colored kids we have ever seen! He is a son of Xclusively Blue, and a grandson of Blue’s Son – both amazing sires in his heritage.
